"I was lied to so beautifully that it was hard not to believe"! I would like to express my concern regarding a number of systemic issues that, in my opinion, significantly affect the operational efficiency, corporate culture, and long-term stability of the company. Here are the key points that require immediate attention from the Board of Directors. 1. Lack of strategic and functional management The company lacks a unified and transparent management system. This manifests itself in: · Unclear areas of responsibility: Many processes are stalled due to a lack of understanding of who is responsible for what and who makes the final decisions. · Absence of strategic planning: Work is often done in a reactive mode to problems instead of implementing an overall plan. · Low efficiency of processes: Decisions are made chaotically, leading to constant "firefighting" and a decrease in employee productivity. 2. Issues with corporate culture and subordination The current atmosphere in the company negatively affects the morale of the staff and professional relationships. · Blurring of personal and professional boundaries: There are instances where work discussions turn into personal disputes, including personal attacks and raised voices. The situation becomes especially troubling when such behavior is motivated by personal jealousy, which is absolutely unacceptable in a work environment. · Lack of respectful communication: Criticism is expressed in a destructive, personal form, rather than in the format of work evaluation and professional mistakes. This destroys trust and creates a toxic environment. 3. Influence of familial ties and status on management This factor is, in my opinion, the root of many problems. · Mixing of roles: The fact that the IT director is also the spouse of the CEO creates a conflict of interest and undermines the principles of meritocracy. · Lack of accountability and abuse of power: This executive allows herself to publicly reprimand any employees from any departments without having direct authority, violating professional ethics and resorting to personal insults. It gives the impression that the entire business is perceived as personal property, rather than a structure governed by professional rules. · Blocking career growth: Such a situation demotivates qualified employees and blocks healthy feedback channels. 4. Direct business consequences: high employee turnover The aforementioned problems have direct and measurable consequences — extremely high employee turnover. This concerns not only the accounting department but also other key divisions. Constant staff rotation leads to: · Loss of knowledge and competencies. · Financial costs associated with constantly searching for and adapting new employees. · Reduction of operational efficiency and disruption of deadlines. Constructive proposals for the Board of Directors Given the seriousness of the situation, I strongly recommend the Board of Directors: 1. Conduct an independent audit of corporate culture and management systems: Engaging external consultants will help to obtain an objective assessment without internal bias. 2. Implement a clear organizational structure and regulations: Define areas of responsibility, chains of subordination, and decision-making procedures. Establish a corporate ethics code prohibiting personal attacks and disrespectful communication. 3. Consider the issue of separating business roles and familial relationships: Ensure that all executives, regardless of their status and personal ties, are accountable to unified corporate standards. 4. Establish an anonymous feedback system: This will allow employees to report problems without fear of negative consequences. I believe in the potential of the company and believe that resolving these systemic problems will pave the way for stable growth, increase employee loyalty, and create a healthy business atmosphere.
