I worked at the company LLC "TPK Verstakoff" in the central office in Moscow in the sales department as a B2B manager for more than 3 years...
...after my next scheduled vacation, on my first (and later last) working day, I found my computer blocked, my email account, accounting system, CRM program, and others blocked as well. Later, from my direct supervisor, I received information that the company and its management decided this way to say "thank you" and goodbye, leaving me out to dry financially!..
Currently, the company office is located 2 minutes from Paveletskaya metro station, the standard working hours are from 9:00 to 18:00, 28 calendar days of vacation according to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, and employment is also formalized according to the Labor Code. The IT department in the position of B2B manager will provide you with a laptop, phone, and SIM card. For further trips and negotiations with clients, there is a company car, but most of the time it will be occupied with supplies, related departments, and other matters, so you will have to plan your trips to clients by yourself and on your own pace. Historically, trips using public transport in Moscow will be at your own expense, and accounting does not compensate for them. Trips outside the city by trains yes, - will be compensated, but if you move by taxi, you will have to explain why you did not use public transport. Trips beyond the Moscow region, yes - will be reimbursed at a minimum according to Russian law. When using a personal car, only fuel compensation is provided, no other materials (oils/fluids), and no depreciation for wear and tear of parts is covered, either.
Let’s return to the working hours, for every minute of delay, 2 and so on - you will have to write a letter of explanation to the HR department. At the same time, no one takes into account the fact that a person might take a 10-minute lunch break and rush to make technical and commercial proposals, or runs off to a meeting with a client. Or another situation when you need to get up at 5 am to get to another city over 200 km away to negotiate with clients, or return home after 11 pm. On the eve of a holiday, according to the production calendar (the day with a star), the HR department does not consider it necessary to inform about the shortened working day, just as it does not consider it necessary to pay for that hour.
In the employment contract, the company will state a completely different amount than what was announced at the interview for the position in the sales department. Be specific in your questions: what, how much, and what document will be used to formalize it? Because later, the employer will definitely remind you of these conditions if you disagree with anything (read paragraph 2)!
Over the years of working at the company, there have been various situations, different managers, and specialists. But what is happening now in the sales department is complete madness. They are firing employees who showed much better financial results within certain sales channels and keeping those who smile nicely and inform on others. The sales plan will be stretched over the current receipts and projects of this month, instead of planning and building a proper sales strategy. For each table on receipts for the current and subsequent quarter, tables must be filled out for each month, and every month for each week! And during the week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, you will have to fill in the tables again and beg clients three times a day to pay, as they are always absent in the company. There is not enough money for staff salaries, nor is there enough for timely payments to suppliers of other materials and equipment. The company is downsizing employees, branches, marketing activities, etc. Nobody is dealing with business processes and their structuring, nor interactions between related departments.
At all major events, from the management of the company, you can hear how valuable the staff and the people who work here are, but in reality, this is not true, nobody appreciates you, and nobody says thank you. The CEO can afford to publicly address a manager in obscene terms asking "why are you in the office and not at a meeting" and nobody cares that you are preparing a technical and commercial proposal for 10 pages with descriptions, simultaneously looking for alternative proposals for the client, controlling deliveries and shipments from the factory, and much more. And the commercial department represented by the managers, with their heads down, will say nothing in support of the managers.
...bringing the company tens of millions of rubles in 2025 (as soon as the funds were received from the client), I received what is described in the second paragraph. The company cheated me out of money, not paying according to its own KPI regulations in full (of course, this document is not specified in the employment contract). The management threatened and recalled that part of the sum that is officially stipulated in the employment relationships.
I do not recommend this company as a potential employer for job seekers! Conditions below market, a huge crisis within the company, layoffs, high employee turnover, and lack of DMS (voluntary health insurance).
