Review about job: Umka Company or IP Berdnikova L.L. - Bratsk

The company can attract relatively high salaries for some positions. However, potential employees should take into account the peculiarities of the internal atmosphere and management system in advance. The company has a high turnover rate. Dismissals are often explained as "optimization", but new employees are quickly accepted for the same or similar positions. This creates a sense of instability and tension within the team. Not only the professional qualities of employees play a significant role in work processes but also personal/family connections within the company. One of the employees, who has familial relationships with the management, actually has informal influence over work processes and the formation of the manager's opinion about colleagues, despite not holding a managerial position. In the observations of the employees, this is manifested in the following ways: — a person may actively interfere in the work of other employees and give assignments without having official managerial authority — the person knows the days of inspections, which they prepare for thoroughly to appear as a good employee, while setting up a colleague — some work tasks are shifted to colleagues, while the results of the work may be attributed to this person — the responsibility for emerging mistakes is often transferred by this person to other employees — information about colleagues is actively passed on to the management, often distorted, which creates an atmosphere of constant control and mutual distrust in the team. Any information is conveyed from a self-serving perspective, and the person tries to play ahead. Thus, the management aligns itself with this person and does not believe the facts stated against them — thanks to close ties with the management, this employee can afford behavior that is not permitted for other workers: changing schedules, leaving the workplace to go to another job, lounging in the break room, arriving late or being absent without consequences — has a parking spot that is unnamed but somehow untouchable; for parking in this spot, employees receive reprimands. The management of the company plays a special role in forming the atmosphere. The manager: — makes decisions primarily based on information coming from a limited circle of employees — often discusses work matters in an emotional manner, resorting to personal attacks — demonstrates a lack of systematic approach to motivating and controlling employees, which exacerbates internal conflicts — does not take steps to build a transparent system of accountability and subordination, allowing internal intrigues and conflicts to flourish — instead of fostering team cohesion, pits each department against one another — creates a situation in which employees feel undervalued and are forced to constantly defend their positions. As a result, the team finds itself in constant tension: employees are more occupied with not being the scapegoat than with calmly carrying out their duties. Internal conflicts, competition between departments, and personal preferences of some individual employees create an atmosphere of distrust and stress. Before employment, one should carefully assess whether you are ready to work in a company where significant influence on decisions comes not only from the professionalism of employees but also from personal connections, and where the management culture is not oriented towards transparency, teamwork, and respect for the results of colleagues.
